Since its independence in 1965, Singapore has now grown into an economic warehouse. Many multinational companies have set up their Asian headquarters in Singapore, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Students in Singapore can benefit from these international connections of industry.

3. A safe, secure and Multicultural society:

While English remains as the predominated language in school and universities, other official languages of Singapore are, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. Singapore has ranked as the 2^nd safest country in the Safe City Index 2019. It has one of the lowest occurrence of crime rates, owing to its defined and efficiently enforced laws. Moreover, it also has an efficient city planning, convenient transportation, warm climate and social and friendly social atmosphere.
